Sky Tronic was declared a winner of Start-up Economy Award at Forum of Vision of Growth awards ceremony in Gdynia Arena Hall. The event which took place on 25-26 June, 2018 in Gdynia, Poland is the biggest economy conference in Northern Poland and consisted of discussion panels about Polish economy with the contribution of experts, corporations, startups, Polish Prime Minister and Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology.
Sky Tronic received the special award of Polish Microentreprenuer of 2017 competition during the gala at Warsaw Stock Exchange on June 20, 2018. Polish Microentreprenuer of 2017 competition is part of Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards organised by Citi Foundation for the most innovative startups employing no more than 10 employees.
Unmanned helicopters carrying out search and rescue operations in the mountains might seem like a sci-fi movie, yet Sky Tronic is in the process of making it happen. Difficult terrain and inclement weather conditions prevent aircraft with standard controls from flying. Sky Tronic is developing AI algorithms based on the fuzzy logic principle, which will enable stable and safe navigation regardless of conditions.
Sky Tronic attended Spark Demo Day, final of Startup Spark acceleration programme on March 15, 2018 in Lodz Special Economic Zone. Sky Tronic presented at the stage and dedicated stand Mini-UAV to gather and send data spread over hard-to-reach locations from sensors using radio-frequency mesh network. UAV solves the need of Pietrucha Group of surveillance of eingeenering objects and handbands monitoring vital signs of accident’s victims.
Sky Tronic collaborates with Budimex on development and tests of autonomous drone, 3D Flight Explorer FLC to enable monitoring the construction site and the spatial analysis of engineering objects in 3D using more efficient computing power of octrees. The project was recommended for 0.5 mln USD of European Union funding in Smart Growth programme organized by National Centre of Research & Development in Poland.
