Our scientific team and initiators of Sky Tronic: Bogusław Szlachetko, PhD and Michał Lower, PhD gave an interview for its alma mater, Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The interview covers the win in New Economy Heroes competition of Sky Tronic – spin-off company founded with the university and further collaboration with the university on development of new technologies for civil and military unmanned aerial vehicles.
On March 28 and 29, 2017 Sky Tronic attended Wolves Summit, fifth edition of the biggest multinational event in Central and Eastern Europe focused on networking and technological innovations. Sky Tronic was selected as one of 350 of most promising technological start-ups. The company’s representatives presented the new technology of steering and stabilisation for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in many 1:1 meetings with investors, partners and sponsors.
Sky Tronic, a high-tech startup has been declared a winner of New Economy Heroes 2017 for the most innovative Internet-of-Things start-up. The founders could meet up with Maciej Balsewicz from bValue.vc and Morten Lund, who’s already invested in an over a hundred startups. Bogusław Szlachetko, R&D Director, confirms that intelligent fuzzy logic controllers for UAV steering and stabilizing developed by Sky Tronic can replace standard PID controllers. Novel controllers can be a breaktrough in navigation of UAV and should improve the safety and precision of UAV flights in difficult weather and terrain conditions. Our autonomous unmanned helicopters are intended to improve the efficiency of search and rescue missions in the mountains.
